5. Benefits Of Receiving Vaccine

Did you know that when you get vaccinated, you're not only protecting yourself, but you are also protecting your family and your community from contagious and dangerous diseases? If we have high vaccination rates in every community, we can keep diseases from spreading throughout the U.S.

As we all know millions of people in the United States have received COVID-19 vaccines since they were authorized for emergency use by FDA. A growing body of evidence has shown that these vaccines are safe and effective. CDC(Centres of Diasease Control) recommends that people who are starting their vaccine series or getting booster dose get either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna (mRNA COVID-19 vaccines). The Moderna vaccines are preferred over Johnson & Johnson's Janssen COVID-19 vaccine i most circumstances based on an updated risk-benefit analysis, but the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine may be considered in some situation. Before recommending COVID-19 vaccination for children, scientists conducted clinical trials. The FDA gave the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine emergency authorization to use in children ages 5 year through 15 years and full approval to use in people ages 16 years and older. Some people have no side effects from COVID-19 vaccine. Many people have reported side effects that may affect their ability to do daily activities, but they should go away within a few days. there is no evidence that COVID-19 vaccines cause fertility problems. Everyone who receives a COVID-19 vaccine can participate in safety monitoring by enrolling themselves and their children 5 year and older in v-safe and completing health check-ins after COVID-19 vaccination. Parents and caregivers can create or use their own account to enter their children's information.

1)The vaccine can help your unborn baby or newborn.

·       Studies have found that expectant mothers who receive the COVID-19 vaccine create antibodies to the virus and pass those to their unborn baby through the placenta. Mothers were also shown to pass antibodies to their new-borns through breast milk. This suggests those new-borns have some immunity to the virus, which is especially important as young children cannot get the vaccine.

2)The vaccine protects against severe illness

·         During studies, the three vaccines like Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer have shown to be effective at preventing severe illness from COVID-19. So, if you are vaccinated and became infected, you are very unlikely to became severally ill. the CDC tracks confirmed COVID-19 hospitalization by vaccination status. for adults 18 and older , unvaccinated people were 8 times more likely to be hospitalized than fully vaccinated people. among adolescents between ages 12-17, unvaccinated people are 10 times more likely to be hospitalized than fully vaccinated people.
